Jon started his career as a civil servant working in policy divisions and ended up working for a very senior civil servant. Jon decided he needed a car and the only way he could do it was to become a salesman. After a brief baptism of fire selling office equipment, he joined Rentokil. In 1986 Jon joined Invicta Radio, Kent's independent radio station.
Jon spent 11 very happy years in commercial radio leaving as Sales Director of Classic FM in 1997. He then joined Mirror Group Newspapers as their head of Cable Television sales. After that got disbanded in 1999 Jon has since worked as a consultant working in construction, media, transport and publishing.
Marc started his career in 1989 in the advertising agency industry at Ogilvy & Mather. Over the next 20 odd years he moved around the agency world before becoming a Board Director at WPP media agency m/SIX. From there he moved to the client side of the business as Head of Marketing at Bourne Leisure and then became a marketing consultant until he founded Demolish the Wall with Jon in 2017.
